National Veterans Legal Services Program had the opportunity to expand into the next suite on its floor at 1600 K Street NW.  This would allow them to close their satellite office and have everyone in one office.  The only problem was the expansion space needed to be designed to mirror the existing space. Plus, the two spaces needed to be connected.  POUNDS Construction worked with Clark Architecture and NVLSP to join the two spaces and make the expansion space feel and look just like the original space.  This called for demo, building workstations, new case work, a new drop-down ceiling, in addition to matching the carpeting, paint and light fixtures.
